From the hotel to your sailing
Start where your Miami Beach stay ends and continue to the assigned PortMiami terminal. There is no separate airport connection involved in this journey.

Private transportation begins at the confirmed Miami Beach property and continues to the assigned PortMiami terminal. The property establishes pickup, while the cruise line, ship and terminal establish the destination. Supply any property access instructions with the reservation.
GoMiamiLimo arranges private transportation from your Miami Beach hotel or residence to the terminal for your cruise. The departure plan needs both the property entrance and your ship or terminal, plus time for causeway and port traffic. Share your sailing date, passenger count and luggage for a quote built around your check-in window.
Traveling from Miami Beach to PortMiami connects a barrier-island property with a specific cruise terminal. The journey still requires planning around the exact pickup, cruise luggage, terminal assignment and embarkation schedule.

South Beach, Mid-Beach and North Beach begin the journey from different parts of the island. Hotel checkout and the cruise check-in window shape the departure.
The approach follows your destination and road conditions.
The terminal assigned to your sailing.
Allow for road traffic and the cruise line’s boarding or disembarkation process.
Miami Beach runs along a barrier island east of mainland Miami, while PortMiami occupies the seaport. Routing depends on where the passenger is staying because South Beach, Mid-Beach and North Beach are not interchangeable pickup areas.
For South Beach pickups, MacArthur Causeway/I-395 is the principal connection across Biscayne Bay. South of Fifth, Ocean Drive, Collins Avenue, Washington Avenue, Alton Road and Lincoln Road properties can have different local approaches before the causeway.
A prearranged transfer establishes the property pickup, vehicle and cruise-terminal destination beforehand. Miami Beach geography affects the first part of the trip while the ship and terminal determine the final port approach.

A hotel party may have checked cases, day bags and purchases from the beach stay. Choose the vehicle around everything going onto the ship.
South Beach, Mid-Beach and North Beach have different approaches to the mainland. The hotel location shapes the road plan before the vehicle even reaches the port.
South Beach, Mid-Beach and North Beach begin the journey from different parts of the island. Hotel checkout and the cruise check-in window shape the departure.
Official arrival informationSouth of Fifth, Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue properties do not all load passengers at the most recognizable frontage. Use the hotel’s vehicle entrance and have the party’s bags together before departure. The cruise check-in window comes after the road journey; hotel checkout time does not automatically determine the best port arrival time.
A resort near the 41st Street area or a North Beach apartment begins farther up the island than a South Pointe stay. The car must first reach a suitable bay crossing before continuing to the port. A travel estimate from South Beach should not be applied unchanged to every Miami Beach property.

An SUV gives families or colleagues additional space for the trip to PortMiami.
Occupied third-row seats reduce cargo room. Include strollers, child-seat requests and large bags when requesting the vehicle.
Request this vehicle Exact model, configuration and availability are confirmed with your reservation.Suitcases, carry-ons, strollers and special equipment travel with the party. Select a vehicle with room for both passengers and belongings. See luggage and special-request guidance.
PortMiami occupies Dodge Island beside Downtown Miami. The cruise terminals are separate facilities, with approaches along North Cruise Boulevard, West Cruise Boulevard and Caribbean Way. Your ship’s current assignment determines the destination.
Plan your arrivalSeveral cruise facilities line the northern side of the port. Their entrances are distinct even when ships are berthed close together; the cruise itinerary identifies the terminal for your sailing.
PortMiami occupies an island beside Downtown, but reaching the port entrance does not complete the trip. The county lists multiple terminal addresses on different port roads. Keep the sailing’s ship and terminal assignment accessible so the car continues to the right embarkation facility.
Other facilities are on the western and southern sides of the port. A general port address can therefore take the vehicle to the wrong part of the island.
Use the cruise line’s assigned check-in and boarding instructions. A flight arrival, hotel checkout and port arrival are separate steps in the day, and the ground transfer needs to fit between them.
GoMiamiLimo can arrange pickups from hotels, resorts, condominiums and residences throughout Miami Beach, with the approach based on the actual property and the final destination based on the confirmed PortMiami terminal.

Read the details relevant to this route, from the road approach to family stays and onward plans.
Mid-Beach properties around 41st Street, Collins Avenue and Indian Creek Drive are farther north. Julia Tuttle Causeway/I-195 is a major mainland connection for Middle Beach. North Beach may involve Collins Avenue and a more northerly approach before turning toward the port.
PortMiami itself is not one cruise-terminal building. Current facilities include terminals AA, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, J and V, with locations along North Cruise Boulevard, West Cruise Boulevard and Caribbean Way. The cruise line, ship and terminal should be supplied so the final port approach is planned to the correct facility.
Embarkation timing should come from the cruise line. GoMiamiLimo coordinates the ground journey from Miami Beach but does not control terminal check-in, security, documentation or ship boarding.
Families may stay in Miami Beach before a cruise and travel with luggage for the full sailing. Direct transportation keeps adults, children, suitcases, carry-ons and strollers together from the accommodation to the cruise terminal.
Before checking out of the beach property, separate passports and cruise essentials from cases intended for shipboard baggage handling. The hotel-to-port drive may be only one stage of a longer embarkation morning. Children’s immediate needs should remain in a bag you can keep with you through terminal check-in.
Executives and hosted groups may combine a Miami Beach stay with a cruise. A prearranged vehicle can collect passengers from a Collins Avenue resort, South Beach hotel or another property and continue to the correct terminal.
A group leaving several Miami Beach properties needs more than one pickup. South Beach and North Beach departures can be far apart along the island, and hotel loading takes time at each stop. Agree on a sequence or one meeting property instead of timing the vehicle as if everyone begins at the same entrance.
The ship’s check-in window and the hotel’s checkout policy are separate schedules. If there is a gap, ask the hotel about storing bags or plan an additional stop; do not assume early terminal arrival means immediate boarding. A direct car transfer is transport between the property and the port, not open-ended storage or waiting during that gap.
After sailing, explore the return PortMiami to Miami Beach route.
Share the travel date, requested pickup time, exact Miami Beach property, cruise line, ship, PortMiami terminal if known, passenger count, approximate luggage and passenger contact information. Also mention child-seat requests, oversized items or additional stops. These details help plan the island pickup, vehicle selection and correct cruise-terminal drop-off.
Review the requested vehicle, itinerary and price before confirming your transportation.
Follow your pickup instructions and begin the journey from Miami Beach to PortMiami.
Travel time varies with the pickup location, causeway conditions, time of day, events and cruise traffic. South Beach, Mid-Beach and North Beach do not have identical approaches to the port. Any estimate should therefore be treated as approximate, and passengers should separately follow their cruise line's required embarkation and boarding schedule.
GoMiamiLimo can arrange pickup from confirmed hotels, resorts, condominiums and residences throughout South Beach, Mid-Beach and North Beach. Provide the complete property name and address, plus any access instructions that may affect vehicle pickup. A Collins Avenue resort, South of Fifth condominium and North Beach residence can require different local approaches.
No. PortMiami is in Miami-Dade; Port Everglades is in Broward near Fort Lauderdale. Check the port named on your cruise documents before arranging an airport-to-ship connection.
Use the current sailing documents and ship assignment. Cruise operations and terminal arrangements can change; a historical association with one terminal is not enough to plan the arrival.
Yes. Luggage assistance accompanies the ground transfer, but provide the approximate number and size of bags before vehicle selection. Cruise passengers may have several large suitcases plus carry-ons, so seating capacity alone does not determine the vehicle. An SUV, Sprinter or additional vehicle may be appropriate depending on total passengers and cargo.
Yes. Families can arrange transportation from Miami Beach hotels and residences directly to PortMiami. Provide adult and child counts, luggage and stroller information. If a child seat is required, include that request when arranging the reservation so availability and the appropriate setup can be confirmed before the embarkation-day transfer.
Yes. GoMiamiLimo can arrange pickups throughout Miami Beach, including South of Fifth, South Beach, Collins Park, Mid-Beach, the 41st Street area, the Collins Avenue resort corridor, Indian Creek Drive, North Beach and North Shore. The exact property matters because different parts of the island can use different approaches toward PortMiami.
Yes. Sedans, SUVs and Mercedes-Benz Sprinters can be requested according to passenger and cruise-luggage requirements. SUVs provide additional room for families and smaller groups, while Sprinters can accommodate larger parties of up to 14 passengers when luggage allows. Seating and cargo capacity are considered separately before confirming the vehicle arrangement.
Yes, request the rental as the pickup. Unlike a hotel, it may not have a staffed lobby or loading area. Agree on an accessible meeting point, have the cruise party ready together and plan the departure from that part of the island.
